The five balloon packages, compared
What each package includes and costs, from the flight alone to a night in the desert.
All five packages share the same core: pickup and drop-off in Dubai city at about 4 am, the balloon inflation and safety briefing at the Margham launch site, a flight of roughly 45 to 60 minutes depending on the wind, and the in-flight falcon show. Prices are per person and include VAT. Children are ages 5 to 11; adults 12 to 80.
Standard, AED 1,100 adult and AED 1,000 child. Flight, falcon show, tea or coffee before take-off, and the drive back to your hotel. About 4 hours door to door. The choice if you want the flight and nothing else.
Deluxe, AED 1,209 adult and AED 1,149 child. Everything in Standard plus a buffet breakfast at a Bedouin camp after landing and a short camel ride inside the camp. About 4 to 5 hours. The most popular option: the breakfast is generous and the camp is where the photos happen.
Adventure, AED 1,399 adult and AED 1,199 child. The Deluxe morning plus dune bashing after landing, a short horse and camel ride at the camp, and a 20-minute quad bike session. About 5 to 6 hours. For groups who want the whole desert in one morning.
Heritage, AED 1,795 adult and AED 1,595 child. The flight, then a vintage Land Rover drive inside the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve to a heritage camp for an à la carte Emirati breakfast and a camel ride along a desert track. About 4 to 5 hours. The quieter, more cultural version.
Overnight desert escape, AED 2,400 adult and AED 2,100 child. Two days: a golden-hour Land Rover wildlife drive in the reserve, a night in a furnished private room at the heritage camp with dinner, on-ground falcon show, live music and fire show, then the sunrise flight with breakfast on day two. Reserve entry permits included; there are no showers on site.
Private flight, price on request. Your own basket, a red-carpet welcome, the flight video, a gourmet breakfast in a private tent and a camel ride, with cakes, flowers and other touches arranged for proposals and anniversaries. About 4 hours.
Not included on any package unless stated: the edited flight video (AED 200 per booking), and pickup from Jebel Ali, Bab Al Shams, Hatta or the other emirates, which carries a surcharge.
